I bought this for training my puppy as a “high value” treat. She loves them and responds well to commands when tripe is offered.

Green Tripe is so healthy for dogs and cats. But the canned Tripe is super smelly and not always convenient when I am traveling with my dog. This freeze dried tripe does smell, but it smells less than fresh or canned. I wouldn't give it to my dog on a crowded plane for example, but if I was in an airport and a few feet away from others, this is a great treat for my dog. I will use tripe as a meal for my dog when in a pinch. This was great quality freeze dried tripe. My dog went crazy for it. I do provide plenty of fresh water when I feed it to my dog. I will rehydrate it, but only if I am not around other people...the smell again. This is not a problem with the product, it is just how tripe is....but it is a super foods for dogs and cats. I recommend this as a healthy snack for your pet instead of biscuits that have tons of carbs. I have extensively researched dog and cat food, because I was in the business. The resealable bag was great for keeping it freeze dry fresh. I buy this on a semi regular basis.

My cats love these and they are a great source of taurine which is essential for cats. These chicken hearts are the best value per oz and they are small enough for my lil girl cat and big enough that my big boy is happy.

Taurine is an essential amino acid for cats, unfortunately their body can't store it in large quantities (like with dogs) and they need it on the regular basis. Taurine deficiency causes many health problems for animals. Freeze dried chicken heart is the perfect solution for this matter. Chicken heart is very high in taurine (more than beef), and since it is all natural, I rather feed my kitty this real food versus synthetically manufactured taurine which looks like white powder. Kitty loves it and she'll get one treat a day.
